Hey Victor,

I really admire you for one thing. You always look at the positive side of things. I felt the Radio Shack guy just completely dodged the question; I also don't think if PC sales were slowing he would not want to admit that. He sure was a weasel about the question though.

I also feel the Ingram announcement was more of a concern about their decreasing margins than anything. Everytime we buy it's my job to beat up our Ingram, Pinnacor, and Merisel rep to get the absolute best price.

Traditionally, as of a year ago, Ingram always kept margins up but they could often get away with that because they would stock absolutely everything the VAR needed so they would get a good portion of the orders. Now times have changed. We will normally order all or most from Pinnacor rather than Ingram because they cut the margins the lowest. It's really become a cut throat industry.

That being said, I also feel ING preannouncing is also a bad sign for CPQ. I keep in touch with our reps, more so with ING and PINN, and they both tell me PC sales have been slow. Just my two cents.
