Pete: Actually with the Nforce northbridge, the only change really necessary would be converting the EV6 FSB to a HT link. The memory channels become used just for graphics core local memory or with an external AGP card, dedicated texture memory.

It would be just as easy to take a standard NB and disable the memory controller and convert the EV6 FSB to a HT link :-)
