It sounds like your Netscape is trying to run the jar file as an applet, rather than just save it to your hard drive. Interesting problem. Do you know if you can tell Netscape not to run it. My program is not an applet and should not be run from your browser. Please let me know if this advice helps you to be able to solve this. Let's continue our discussion in private messages, so we don't clutter this thread with stuff that others may not be interested in.
