Maybe I don't quite understand your message. What do you mean by historical futures are dead? Expired future contracts (i.e. BP99Z) no longer trade after their expiration, so they are supposed to not have any further updates. The historical charts still come up, if you would like to look back at them. This issue is only affecting contracts with an expiration of 2000 not anything previous.
