OT Fore to buy Berkeley Fore Systems (FORE:Nasdaq) agreed to buy privately held Berkeley Networks for 8,475,000 shares and options, valued at about $250 million. Fore expects to record a second-quarter merger-related charge between $1.80 and $2.20 per share. The company also will establish a restructure reserve of about 5 cents per share to cover certain costs related to the acquisition. Regards Neil
