Richard - Re: " HP/INTEL has Merced coming this fall... Accurate?" Tape out was recently scheduled for this fall - with first silicon probably being available for Intel/HP Internal testing and verification in the October/November time frame. The official release is still probably targeted towards the second half of 1999. Keep in mind - once the silicon is working, this will become a "software project", with compilers and operating systems undergoing testing, modification, retesting, optimizing, etc. Paul
