Moore on Healthcare
Michael Moore's next project will be to examine the US healthcare.
Blackfive blog

No doubt he will 'expose' the terrible things done by the greedy evil health insurance companies. I wonder if he will go to Canada and interview those who have to wait months just to see a doctor or have to come to the US to avoid the waiting.

Is the US healthcare system perfect? Certainly not. For one thing doctors have a state supported monopoly on providing healthcare. Furthermore because of perverted tax incentives the consumers of healthcare (the patients) rarely get to actually choose which product they want. Instead many employers provide health coverage because it is a way to pay employees without Uncle Sam taking a cut.

Despite these (and other) shortcomings, US healthcare is kind of like Democracy...

It is the worst system except for all the rest of them.
