It's only possible if he's reached the bottom. How can one get up if one is still falling?

I haven't seen more comptemptuous analysts (some even question the 'viability' of the company):

"For the last nine months, this company continues to have declining
returns," said Alfred Tobia, an analyst at Montgomery Securities. "Their
bookings are lousy and they explained last quarter's shortcomings with
the same explanations they are giving for this quarter. I don't think
the company knows what's wrong."

Tobia downgraded Alameda, Calif.-based Ascend from a "buy" to a "hold,"
a move that usually irks chief executives and large shareholders.

"The strange thing was when I lowered the rating, the company was almost
happy," Tobia said. "Usually people get pissed off and don't talk to me.

But with Ascend, they almost seemed relieved."

Davies said one of Ascend's biggest problems was the technical glitches
experienced by Internet service providers looking to install faster 56K
modems.

Still, I'll consider buying some ASND if it gets to upper 20s. Are you salivating at this prospect too?
