To say that the current tone of debased debate in this nation is the fault of just one side, is well, insupportable.

I'm not exactly saying that, but I'm saying that Democrats are using tactics of desperation to restore themselves to power that they lost because they don't deserve it.

They don't have a plan. Kerry kept saying he had a plan for this or that, but the fact was he didn't.

I do, however, believe that the flower children of the 60s, my generation, are responsible for many of the intractable social problems that we have now, including those in politics. In politics, most of the beats went to the Democrat side.

I clearly remember the beat generation. I was young then and I wore a short haircut the whole time as a sort of protest against people that I felt were out of control.

In the 70s, my wife talked me into a leisure suit, and I wore a beard or mustache for a while. I even voted for Jimmy Carter. I'll never return to that because I've seen that Reagan's legacy has done wonders.
