You may be correct about this. What I had really meant to say was that shorting YHOO earlier this week or last week would have been a bad idea. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go higher from here for the next week or so. In situations like this I like to track the sale of options. Since option players are usually wrong, it's a sure bet that YHOO will never be in money on the most heavily traded options by expiry. It gives you a sense of where to short. After all, the idea is to short at the highest possible price isn't it?
