Mike,

I've had similar situation and am moving away from e.schwab. As i read thru the list, I find that most seem happy with Schwab personel and other services, but very unhappy with their trading desk.

I haven't put in a market order in months because you can't trust them. I put in a market sell order before market opened that matched the bid quantity of 2,000 @ 11-5/8, market varied between 11-/14 - 11-3/4 on heavy volume thru the day and I got the 11-1/4.

Most recently - I put limit sell on 1,000 shares of a $2 stock to match bid and get a one day 1/4 point gain and didn't specify a minimum. They sold 100!! I get left with a small loss due to commission and 900 shares.

So now it's limit orders only with minimum quantities and day only. I shouldn't have to protect myself from my broker.

For what it's worth
Ron
