I agree with everything you say on a fundamental point of view. I have
clients who are worried and we discuss their portfolio from just this
point of view. The difficulty is not so much as when to get out. Thats
easy. Many have large gains. The problem is when to buy again. Time
and again, opportunity slips by, just when things are the worst and blood
runs through the street. Consistently, the psychology is as follows.
When things are good, it will get better. When things are bad, it will
get worse. It confounds things. I always try to tell people, treat stocks
like owning a business. Significant wealth creation comes from a buy
and hold strategy with good companies with growth prospects. This
fits the bill with tech stocks. There are no other areas that meet this
criteria like tech stocks. Bill Gates created significant wealth for
himself and others who had the patience by holding his stock.

I see this correction as more of a buying opportunity. Stocks like
Micron and Motorola are now on sale. MU is particular is having a
2 for one sale or half off.
