Ha, that was a nail biter! According to my streamer, it closed at $15.01. Then a few seconds later that changed to $14.98. That price hung there for a couple of minutes, then we saw $15.10, and now it's back to $15.01. I could be seeing after hours action. If it gets too weird, I might still end up being put some shares, but for the moment it looks as though I get to harvest my premium.

I pull this stuff from time to time at expiration. For example, I sold some ONXX 35 calls for 15 cents today, because it seemed highly unlikely to finish over 35. It's chump change, but it's low risk.

GTXI, though, I almost pulled the trigger on buying back the puts. I hate to do that unless I have to, but it's always exciting when they nail it to the strike at the close like this. Within two minutes from the close, there's a good chance I can't enter my order and expect it to execute, at least not without letting the market makers rape me on the spread. I could see their motivation in jerking folks around at the last minute, since the open interest in this series is pretty high by historical standards. So I'm not surprised it was an interesting close.

Coming out for Spring Barrel Tasting?

Cheers, Tuck
