Greg, Shorts also tend to do extensive homework. They usually have good reasoning and research backing up their play. I get offended when I hear people acting as if shorting is evil, communist, unamerican,etc. I don't understand the us vs. them mentality. I go long or short as the situation dictates. I was suprised, to say the least, when I saw them described as parasites. I mean aren't we ALL parasites long OR short. We are betting on how a company will do. Riding their coattails. I still contend that the shorts keep companys honest by digging into the REAL story and as you said "whacking them in the knees" if they are misbehaving or inflating the truth. Thanks 6' 3" (and 1/2)
