ATTENTION KMART SHOPPERS - SALE ON DELL IN THE NASDAC ISLE Yesterday's news was old news. During our factory tour last week and meeting with a representative from investor relations, we learned that : -ASP's were going down, but component costs are going down at the rate of 1% per week. MARGINS ARE UNAFFECTED. In fact, we heard from reliable sources that margins are on the rise. How can ASP's not go down in this component cost reduction environment. -this decline in ASP's that is being driven by component cost reductions is being somewhat offset by the dramatic growth in Dell's server business (up 200% over the prior year). Happy Bargain hunting. :o) Drew
