Shipping dates at the Apple store have not changed

I think they have. The whites are now shipping in 1-3 business days and they were 1-5.

A few articles I read early on said amazon had the macbooks in stock but Amazon says "not yet released" right now. So I don't know if that was just incorrect or AMZN had some and sold them.

And what about the 17" MBP why isn't that generally available everywhere?
