Dave, there is no problem with checking once or twice. At some point, it has to stop. How about checking again and again till the two adjacent counts match ? One can design any number of ways of creating delay. By the way a faithless elector is not a very old phenomenon. In 1988, an elector for Dukakis voted for Bentsen!! It looks like an elector can vote for you and me if this account is accurate. A rogue electoral vote will be upheld because the constitution allows it. A strict constructionish court would allow it. Till 3 days ago no democrat or republican thought that this election could go to courts. It is a real possibility today. So, don't tell me what people are thinking. We don't know! BTW, mentally retarded people are not allowed to vote. Anyway, since you don't know facts and you are not ready to accept them when they are presented to you and you go on talking about this through your feelings/emotions, this will be my last post to you.
