If I could make $2K a month for expenses, I'd go to work full-time as a secretary for a public interest firm.

If I could retire, I'd volunteer full time for Habitat for Humanity. It's the only 'charity' that has ever interested me.

PS -- I'm reading Grisham's "The Street Lawyer" at the moment. Austin, of course, has a huge homeless population.
