MERGER is probable, but not imminent or certain. Goin with the flow, I'm continuing to add on dips. With covered calls and averaging down, even a guy like me can make money with CIEN if they are patient. There has been very interesting action in the 30 - 35 range for covered calls. Check it out. I think that, within the next six months, either CIEN will be doing gangbusters on its own, or it will be purchased in the mid-30's on up. CSCO's Chairman today talked of spending $5 billion to acquire as many as 10-12 companies over the next fiscal year. Think what CIEN would do for other telcoms.
