The origins of radical Islamic terrorism were about the American ways of life. It was about his CLAIM that he knocked on the wrong door in Colorado and was met by a naked woman. Highly offensive (I know, you would be too, given your preference for sheep). He was highly offended with "animal behavior" of the women. And he HATED, HATED our individual freedoms. This is what caused Islamic terrorism. This is where it came from, NOT from our "military adventuring" as you call it. If you knew anything at all about this subject you would know this.
