I can only compare Covid-19 stopover with the Prohibition.
A stopover mandated by the government. Not by the markets. If we look to the Prohibition, we may discern how a post Covid-19 world will look like.

The Prohibition made alchool illegal. It illegalized the manufacture, transportation, and sale of alcohol. It lasted for 14 years. 1920 to 1933. It didn't change a thing. And once the Prohibition was repealed, people restarted as if the Prohinition had never existed.

The Depression was in full swing, national morale was at rock bottom and, as President Roosevelt put it, "I think we could all do with a beer." and the Prohibition was repealed. Time for our leaders to say "I think we could all do with a beer."...

NOTE
Speakeasies were secret establishments where alcohol was illegally sold to patrons during the Prohibition. In places now depicted as full of glamour and glitz, speakeasy patrons defied the law in an effort to enjoy drinking, cavorting, and other activities in secret. In the case of Covid-19 stopover, The Swedes are doing a 21st century version of the speakeasy. Bars are open.
