Rrufff,
I know that I am in the very small minority when it comes to my approval of Bush. I voted for him both terms, and I have watched carefully every step of the way. I noticed the nation - Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, and Liberals (and yes even New Yorkers) embrace Bush after 911. They begged that Cowboy to go kick some ass, and he sure did - and for a time he was the greatest thing on Earth. But that just had to change - didn't it?
In my very humble opinion, it is as apparent as the tail on the donkey. The Democrats wanted their guy in second term. The liberal media and the democrats began an all out war on Bush. They worked overtime to assassinate his character, and really did not care if the facts were true or not. Anything negative, and Bush got the blame. Lies were repeated over an over until they have been accepted by the truth. Heck, they even had Obama saying that the war in Iraqi was lost, when just a few months later it was obvious that it was just more disgraceful spin. Guess nothing is scared when it comes to politics.
Anyway, I voted Republican the last 3 elections, but Obama is my president now and I will give him credit where credit is due - no matter what the Republicans start spewing out of their mouth as the next election looms nearer.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
