CVX entering my target range to at least start looking more closely at it. A few here own CVX and WMB, both high dividend energy related stocks. Which would you lean more toward given cashflow, debt level vs ability to service and potential dividend growth/stability over the next 5 years?

I am not considering KMI given their inconsistent dividend record- cut a few times over the decades. Their CEO is a not as conservative as you would like for someone running a highly regulated business.

I have my own thoughts on the issues just looking for other views.Given the long term slide in the sector. There is not rush and now is the time to do more work on this highly cyclical sector. There is obviously some geo-politics and economics involved in the long term outlook.
