It's worship not entertainment
People know the lyrics and they can come from their heart instead of
being distracted by reading songs
Our worship leaders sense which way the spirit wants to move that day. They may have a plan but if the spirit wants to go in another direction then they do it.
Our worship leaders are not there to entertain us , but to lead us.
They do spend hours and hours in intercession and prayer during the week. Satan doesn't want a church to truely worship Him.
Sometimes after worship it is so anointed that literally the pastor cannot minister.
Of course it lifts up Jesus, When He's lifted up then salvations and deliverances and miracles happen.
I think that any church can do this. I also think that it can be done with no instruments, or with a full band like we have.
it can be done to a soft beat, a rock beat, etc. etc.
It can be loud or soft volume.
Our worhsip is adoration of Him. but, it also prepares us for battle with some of the songs.
Our pastor is very supportive of worhsip.
Both the pastor I had in Houston and the one in Austin. They
recognize it as just as important as the offering , the sermon, the prayer for needs and the prayer and invitation for salvation and deliverance, and the teaching of the Word.
True worship is somehting that I think demons cannot stand.
They flee true adoration and worship. And, with demons gone. the Word can be planted better. i don't mean all demons. some demons are strong enough to stand in that worship.
I get my spirit charged during worship of Him. I do it just to adore Him, but it charges my spirit. Sometimes I've been healed and
had problems just vanish during worhsip.
Our worship is more like the King David style worship but I don't think that is needed to meet any of the criteria I listed.
