Many times I have traded stocks during "splits" and several times my account received the split shares even though I wasn't entitled to receive them. One time and only once did the broker call and tell me the shares weren't mine and removed them from my account. I held the shares for about a month in each case and then sold them. cdaisey@levanworth.com
