Samsung, Micron, Elpida, are all raising prices so I would
be cautious shorting Micron. MU tends to do the opposite sometimes. PC slow or not, folks at Frys are still lined up
to buy new systems and upgrades. On the other hand some are mumbling about DDR prices. I think there maybe some that will stick to Motherboards that offer both SDRAM and DDR sockets and will use sync that they have and switch to DDR later. (based on some that I talked to and my decision as well). Unless you are looking for every ounce of speed and willing to pay for it, I would rather buy the 40G 7200RPM drive for $89 than buy new DDR memory. So if you feel the same you might still think a short is in order, but demand for DDR for Graphics is the trend and all will switch eventually by 2H. The DRAM suppliers will make less and less sync and the price will be the same someday or even more. well who knows...
Good luck on that short. I sold my MU today at 33 but looking for a better buyin level.
