By Tiernan Ray Shares of camera sensor maker OmniVision Technologies ( OVTI) are down $6.99, or 28, at $17.83 in late trading after the company beat consensus fiscal Q1 EPS estimates but forecast the current quartet well below estimates.

Revenue in the three months ended in July rose 43%, year over year, to $276.1 million, yielding EPS of 76 cents a share, the company said. Analysts on average were looking for $276.4 million and 71 cents per share.

For the current quarter, the company sees revenue of $255 million to $275 million, and EPS in a range of
52 cents to 64 cents. Analysts have been looking for $305 million and 80 cents per share.
