Karen, Anti-modern is not a problem. Coercive application of philosophy is a problem. To me it doesn't matter that the philosophy is religious or political (eg communism). If it involves forcing others to bend to your will to the point that violence is justified then it is wrong. The Amish are anti-modern and religious, but no one fears them. Stalin was modern and anti-religious and killed millions. John
