Two Independent Industry Testing Labs' Data Conclude: New PC Hard Drive Accelerator Delivers Dramatic Performance Improvement
CULVER CITY, Calif., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Syncronys Softcorp (OTC: SYCR) today released performance test results of two independent software test labs, both of which examined Windrenalin HD and concluded that the breakthrough PC hard drive accelerating software delivers "dramatic" performance improvement under Windows 95. The tests were conducted by two leading software testing laboratories: National Software Testing Laboratories "NSTL" (a division of the McGraw Hill Companies) based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; and by PCTest Corporation, based in Tigard, Oregon. Both reports have been published in their entirety by Syncronys on its Web site at syncronys.com. Windrenalin HD was tested using common applications: Word 7.0, Netscape 3.0 and WinFaxPro 7.0. Both batteries of tests found Windrenalin produced application launch speed improvements ranging between 33.4 percent to 5,112 percent, and clustered between 49.08 percent and 582.75 percent depending on the application, hardware and configuration -- with the highest performance results consistently delivered under a rigorous multi-task environment as well as with file system operations on the faster Pentium and Pentium Pro-based hardware systems. The NSTL report concluded, "Windrenalin showed a marked improvement in application launch times. The improvement is dramatic when running four file comparisons in the background." The PCTest report concluded, "PCTest Corporation, after extensive testing, has come to the conclusion that Windrenalin provides significant improvements in launch times with the three tested applications on each of the three configurations tested. Overall improvements range from 33% to 184%. Also, Windrenalin greatly improved launch times when running background multitasking. With the multitasking running, an overall improvement of 450% to 3,600% was experienced." Rainer Poertner, Syncronys chief executive officer, stated, "With the publication of these independent lab results, Syncronys is pleased to officially introduce to the PC marketplace Windrenalin HD: a breakthrough in PC software technology. Syncronys' stringent quality assurance policies include extensive external testing utilizing the services of highly respected performance test labs." Program launch speed improvements are over native. Actual results may vary based on user's system, applications and nature of multitasking.
