Hey Tim,

That's something only you two can answer.

As for me, when we started out, I should have learned right off the bat. When looking at rings, I asked "Who's paying for MY ring?" She said she was. So, I said "Then I want Diamonds also!"

So, she made the down payment with 'her' money. We got married, and then there was no more 'her' money. It was only 'our' (read it MY) money. So, she made the rest of the payments with my own money! Had I know that going into it, I would have had a much simpler band.

But what was mine became 'ours' and that's just the way it is.
Two people facing life's struggles together.
I am glad I finally converted over from 'mine' & 'hers' to 'ours.'

I hope that helps.
