Thanks, Loe... and Yes, Weby, You Are The Reason I'm In WAVX...
As for today's BW article, I love it. It's a reality check on the one hand: letting us know the PROBABLE time frame for the major OEM debut.
But, on the other hand, it: (1): Introduces WAVX to an even broader investment audience. (2): Establishes Peter Sprague as a folk hero for individual investors, who prefers to post to us rather than whisper to analysts. On the face of it, at least, it appears he is redressing an imbalance between the little guys (you and I) and those other folks who get the word in advance and shape the markets accordingly. This is perfectly in keeping, by the way, with the Web way of doing things. Annual shareholders' meetings are almost anachronistic in the era of real-time thread-sharing. (Also love the anecdote about Peter counseling the investor who wanted to risk it all. That's stewardship at its best.) (3): Paints a picture of an organization that's been like John Elway prior his two Super Bowl rings. You gotta stand up and cheer for somebody's who's been laboring in the vineyards without much recognition. (4): Gives us visibility into the MP3 encryption possibilities. (5): Reaffirms just how big this technology can be... if, indeed, it becomes the secure electronic commerce and content distribution infrastructure we hope it to be.
Happy to be LONG... LONG May We Wave... Best Regards...
