SI Dave left the 3 bans in place, noting he usually removes all bans when a new moderator is assigned. I guess it won't hurt to clean out the jail & see how it plays out.*

I'm going to try to moderate this thread in keeping with the style of previous moderators. All of them have sparingly used the ban button. No bans were considered permanent. They also were open to the advice of thread regulars.

I'll continue those traditions.

What I'd really like to see is our good friend Laz come back & take over again.

* However, folks who have been banned here before will be on a short leash, particularly repeat offenders. I don't suffer fools well, nor will I be played like one.
