Jerome, Your points are well taken. My belief is that political news will drive the markets. After watching the talking heads this weekend, one must take into account the effect of another terrorist attack (whether here or in europe) on the markets. Ashcroft in particular said and i paraphrase that the american military response may be a trigger for another terrorist attack. If we can control this with domestic intelligence, the points in your post should lead to a significant market bounce feuled by short covering. mike
