From the YNOT dude - Beach Couch, Inc. -- Company Expands into Thailand and Singapore as First Stage of Asian Expansion Program
GENEVA, Jul 5, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Company (OTCBB:BCHH) has formed a VIPC Corporation subsidiary in Thailand to further expand its growth in Pacific Rim countries with high levels of international telephone traffic. Beach Couch, Inc. has acquired an 80% interest in VIPC Corporation, a Delaware Corporation, established as a joint venture with ChengDu Jiabin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. to develop IP/ISP services in Asia, North America and Central Europe and to market multi-media, value added products in both its' current Asian markets and in the regions where the Company will be expanding its' operations. Jiabin operates IP/ISP PoP gateways in eight major Mainland China cities, handling approximately 4,000,000 minutes per month of international traffic generating annual revenues in excess of $3,500,000 USD and is opening centers in 7 additional Chinese cities. Following Jiabin's successful format of introducing value added IP/ISP products in participation with Provincial and Municipal operations of China Telecom, the Company plans to enter the Thailand IP/ISP market in anticipation of new telecommunication regulations being developed by CAT (the Thailand telecommunications company) in conjunction with the Thailand Government. The Company is proceeding with Jiabin's ongoing Chinese Joint Venture negotiations with the value added IP/ISP security arm of a major European Telecommunications group. The negotiations will now encompass not only the Mainland China market, but also include Thailand and Singapore, where the Company is establishing a major gateway to act as a central hub for its two way Asian IP traffic. Company representatives will be in Vancouver, Canada and Northern California during the month of July to begin development of the planned North American gateways necessary to maximize two way traffic between its Asian and North American customers. IP applications have been made in St. Petersburg and Moscow in order to enhance the Company's Russian paging service revenues and develop two way IP traffic between Central Europe, Asia and North America.
