Why would you assume that they are making a profit on it? This product is more aggressively priced that anything they've released to date, and they haven't turned a profit in several years. [If you have anything to back up that assumption, I would love to hear it. I've been asking the same thing here for months and haven't heard a reasonable theory on how they can make money on SparQ. ============ Well I'd think that a company with Syquest's financials certainly wouldn't develop and market a product like the Sparq if they can't make money on it. How many more money losers could have and still be viable? What would be the point of that exercise? Btw, I have an internal Sparq and am very happy with it so far. Excellent replacement for that stupid/slow/ihateit Iomega tape drive.
