RocketMan, thanks for the link explaining the complexity of the AOL/NETSCAPE/SUN deal. Another factor to keep in mind is the Microsoft lawsuit, wherein if the DOJ breaks up Microsoft, then it would be hard for DOJ to approve a merger.

So after and when the AOL/NETSCAPE deal is inked, AOL stocks should see a slight price boost. After that, investors would watch with interest the next 2 earnings annoucement from AOL to figure out how this acquisition and the deal with SUN is shaping up

Incidentally, the SUN servers that AOL has on order, are being built at SUN's new facility in Newark, CA which is about 3 miles from where I live.
