Your charts of TAN and FSLR make for very good reading and make it easy to see the substantial ups and downs over the period from late 08 to the present. A lot of good trading was available over this period for both TAN and FSLR.

My main point however, in going back to roughly the middle of 08, was to show the greater loss in TAN than the other major averages, and as you pointed out in your chart, TAN also came close last week to taking out its 09 lows. In other words, TAN is down close to 80 percent from the middle of 08. While there has been good trading opportunities in the 5 to 10 dollar range, no long term recovery to the mid 08 levels is anywhere to be found.

Looking at the DOW, S&P-500, NASDAQ, and SOX from the middle of 08, they have recovered to essentially the 08 levels, while TAN is still down to the -60 to -80 percent levels.

Having said all that, I do believe that solar's time is coming. I just wish I knew when so I could jump in at that point and enjoy the upward ride.
