I will listen to your arguments about the scientific merits, even about why Texas would be the perfect place for it. But don't try to push it as a great job producing bonanza. These pie in the sky songs always ignore the good jobs, and developments that will NOT be created because a billion bucks was sucked out of the productive economy by the government for their favored scheme.

Good technical jobs, scientific advancement, and the many spin-off technologies are all benefits.
