Once they had Mad Cow McCain fooled (not a difficult task) the anti-American Dems still had a chance of blocking at least a FEW judicial appointments.

But their hysterical self-distruction trying to fabricate the Rove "scandal" finished them off with members of their party who's goal is to keep their jobs.

So now, they might as well stage a ticker-tape parade through the Senate chamber for Roberts and send him on to get sworn in.

Don't think for a New York SECOND that Bush didn't have this worked out several steps in advance. (And CYBERKEN's favorite part: He had the MSM CONVINCED that it was someone other than Roberts!)

The left is DEAD MEAT to George Bush. And it's JOLLY GOOD FUN TO WATCH...
