PICKSat Technology Ready to Serve Broadcasters

PICKSat Inc., a subsidiary of PICK Communications Corp.
(OTCBB:PICK), today showcased its new satellite Internet
Protocol-based (IP) platform services in the Philips Digital
Television Booth at the 1999 National Association of Broadcasters
(NAB99) convention.
"PICKSat's platform is fully operational and ready to serve the
broadcast and Internet content community," said Mario Pino, president
of PICKSat. "Broadcasters can now be enabled to deliver high quality,
continuously streamed content to Internet service providers and
broadband networks without the risk of congestion common to today's
terrestrial networks, and at a fraction of current costs."
PICKSat's system also enables Internet service providers and
telcos to offer High Speed Internet access via satellite.
At the Philips NAB exhibit booth, PICKSat is demonstrating low
and high bandwidth video streaming. Radio streaming in stereo is also
demonstrated. Satellite-delivered high-speed Internet and all
streaming services are viewed using Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5
browser and Microsoft's Windows Media Technology.
The PICKSat platform offers quick implementation and affordable
access for broadcasters wishing to deploy their own branded IP
Satellite delivered service to the geographic markets of their choice.
NAB99, produced by the National Association of Broadcasters, is
the world's largest trade event covering the convergence of
broadcasting, multimedia and the Internet, audio and video
communications, and telecommunications. Held April 17-22 in Las Vegas,
NAB99 features 1,400 exhibitors and 150 sessions in 11 conferences.
