Mic, regarding boxing a short w/ a long position. AMTD tells me the rule is the short must be covered first...thus you can not short zyx stock at 10 then box it w/ a long at 15, because when you go to sell your long and ride her down, AMTD will not let you sell the long and keep the short! They make you cover first, then sell the long? do they have that correct? I do not really see how a boxed short bipasses the up-tick rule? Then again I have no clue how people short on a ECN after hours?
