*** WEEKEND POLL RESULTS***
Here are the results from the Weekend Poll. Remember, Rillinois's contention was that many people have said that they wanted him to continue posting. He said: "Many people have shown an interest in my posts and have asked me to continue." He has also said: "I'm here to tell everyone that just because Brinker recommends a stock you shouldn't think that it's the next MSFT." So, I asked the thread if they wanted him to keep posting here in order to see if there was any truth to this contention. Draw your own conclusions from the results.
I was surprised at the number of responses I received. I guess the anonymity of the poll was a factor in the strong participation. I received 26 total responses and all responses have been incorporated in the poll results. I broke to poll results into two categories. The "Yes" category consisted of those who either wanted him to post or said he should be allowed to post. The "No" category consisted of those who did not want him to post or said he had the right to post but did not want him to post.
Of the 26 responses received, 4 threaders or 15.4% could be put into the category of either wanting Rillinois to post or at least saying he had the right to post. Here are some of the unedited and complete comments I received for those who are in this camp:
"I encourage Rillinois to keep posting because I like to see his posts. On the other hand, he tends to repeat himeslf. (He?) On the other hand, dissent is good. I like to see your posts too! Keep up the good work."

Here are some responses from those in the "No " category consisting of 84.6% of participants. I had to edit some of these comments for length and family viewing:
"Since I find myself mostly scanning Rillinois posts for blatant lies and not reading them for intellectual stimulation or education, my vote would be NO under your survey rules. While I find Rillinois' posts longwinded and highly biased, I am not ready to support a strong censure ... of his/her messages. It wouldn't take too much to push me over the edge. Count my vote as a "stern warning to Rillinois" to expand his/her interests -there is more to life than bashing Brinker's UTEK and other picks."
"I do not want Rillinois to keep posting here or anywhere..... I used to participate in the American Online UTEK board.... What you said about Rillinois sending harassing e-mail is true. As he has violated people's rights to be left alone there, why should he have any right to speak here or anywhere whatsoever? He should be put in jail for what he did.... I wish people knew the history of this person. Then they wouldn't twice of silencing him. He seems to have changed tactics since coming to SI. Now instead of harassing and insulting people, he has changed his approach to appear like Mr. Nice Guy in order to gain credibility. But make no mistake about this person is a bad seed. Anybody who does not see it is a total fool."

"I wish Rillinoise would "go away,"... but believe he has every right to continue to post here. What I don't understand is why folks keep responding to him. If we'd stop engaging him, he'd probably dry up and go away on his own. Any thinking person reading this board should be able to figure out very quickly that Rillnoise has an axe to grind. Its not hard to figure out."

He tries to refine and perfect his bogus and biased arguments over and over until someone praises him. That only encourages him to do more of the same thing. What I really don't understand is why so many are not even willing to post even one line to say how wrong his posts are.
