Compaq, IBM Prep Enhanced Win NT Servers I happened to have breakfast with an old buddy who is a senior manager at Microsoft in the NT engineering group. He had seen this article and was livid. He said "I wish IBM would stop that s***, they are not doing anything with us on clustering, all of our multi-node cluster work was done by Compaq". He pointed out that no Microsoft person has ever said that they are engaged in advanced engineering with IBM, this is an IBM campaign to create the impression that their one-sided efforts are supported by Microsoft.
