Robin - Re:"buying any networkers"

I missed this boat a long time ago on these stocks, but decided to jump on board about two years ago - FORE was my first purchase.

Then, last July when the tech stocks were plummeting, I picked up Ascend Communcications.

Since these companies dumped again, I started to pick up some of the really battered ones - Cascade and Xylan, and finally Cisco. These are real chancy now, with rumors of "slowed" growth expectations.

It may be too soon to buy, and these latter companies may drop some more. But, in a couple of years they should all do just fine.

One interesting note - the head of Cisco mentioned in a conference call that some consolidation was bound to happen. I would expect a host of mergers and acquisitions over the next 12 months.

Look out for Ipsilon Technologies - If they go public (and now doesn't seem like the best of times) it may be a hot IPO.
