Dear Charles: Well the only Civilian casualty numbers I ever saw were released by the Iraqi Govt and that was a couple days ago, numbered about 400 as I recall, cant say as to whether that is accurate or not, but I saw THOUSANDS in the streets celebrating and that was just Baghdad. Now I suppose you are going to tell me you would celebrate too if you could run out and grab a new SUNW server and make off with it. (got to keep it on subject you know (gg)).
This business isnt over and IMHO the really NASTY stuff is now being faced by our troops. We need far more troops if we are going to enforce law and order AND fight the war. Last info I heard was we had a heavy Brigade in Baghdad, thats probably only about 3,000 troops plus whatever the Marines got in there now. I bet we have well under 10,000 troops total in Baghdad which probably is smaller then a typical police force in a city of 5 million. jdn
