To all: PC business and earnings. I heard today that because of the competition in PC's the prices will fall and earnings for PC companies will fall but because there will be more people on the internet because of the cheap computers revenues for internet companies will be up. Stock prices of PC companies down and internet companies up. I read that the servers used for the internet are hooked up to storage equipment like EMC's. So EMC should get more business. Earnings. Should we expect software sales to increase profit margins and push revenue higher then the fourth quarter? Does the stock price of EMC usually creep up before earnings. New EMC investor. Coments? Tom
