As of 23 november Canada had 19b usd and 20.5b 'other foreign' ... a lot less per capita than say Germany, which has 80ish millions population, we have 33ish ... and almost no gold now, there was a time we had an ounce per capita -

Germany has pop of 82m, so they have usd1536/capita in usd alone, we have usd1212 in total
