IBM is behind Linux in the X86 arena, but I'm not aware of them doing anything in the POWER/AIX arena. Sun, on the other hand, has a compatibility pack that runs on SPARC/Solaris, in addition to now having X86 machines that run Linux. In that respect, I think Sun is actually ahead of IBM in its support for Linux. JMHO. Charles Tutt (SM)
