Bushies called McCain "no hero, a coward, a traitor who aided the enemy in Vietnam, a homosexual, a sleazbag who slept with black hookers and fathered a bastard child.

That's how Bush won South Carolina and the GOP nomination, by having his Rovian religious right forces lie about McCain, a far better man than Bush, much more honest and courageous, a real patriot as opposed to a dishonest AWOL rich kid frontman for industrial special interests.
