OK, I guess it is individual. I've always had strong teeth and have never used much other than cleaning and checkups, so once I found out I was a profitable customer for the insurance company, I quit. I was advised to do this by my very successful dentist in the financial district of San Francisco who said that 'for most of his patients, dental isurance was a loss'. I guess if you know who you are it makes sense.
